Agents Avoid Emotional Sales

Everyone has an attachment to their home in one form or another–this can make the act of selling your home an emotional process. Emotions can lead you to overprice or undersell your home, or even to rashly accept an offer due to pressures of meeting a deadline. Emotions can interfere in the negotiation process and make it hard for you to remain objective– as your seller’s agent, I will help you avoid that. We will focus on the bigger picture, without emotions negatively impacting the process.

Communication is one of the crucial parts of the selling process. As your agent, I will serve to effectively communicate to the buyer’s side, without allowing emotions to interfere. Communication does not only aid in the negotiation process, but the entire process as a whole. When showing a home, it can be awkward on both the buyer’s and seller’s end when the seller is the guide–the buyers can feel restricted in what they can discuss during the tour, given that the owner is present. As the seller’s agent I will not only show potential buyers your home but create a more comfortable space for them to truly embrace the tour and openly communicate the features they both like and dislike, ultimately aiding in the process of selling your home.
